Exceed Worldwide & Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (CSPO)

Clinics such as this one at The Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (CSPO), provide a range of free physical rehabilitation services, particularly for those in need. At this particular clinic there are also students who are practicing their training as prosthetists and orthotists, as well as participating in equipping Cambodians of all ages with assistive prosthetics and orthotics in order for them to have more rewarding lives in their community (CSPO – The Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics, 2018; Exceed Worldwide, 2018).

While many of their recipients are land-mine survivors, Exceed Worldwide along with CSPO assist other individuals affected by polio, cerebral palsy and club foot and by doing this they aim to reduce poverty while simultaneously increasing the individual and family’s self-sufficiency through services and incentives such as rehabilitation, community work, training and advocacy (CSPO – The Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics, 2018).
